It seemed to temporarily go away when I tried to hit it or pound on top of the bed, but other than that, it didn't seem to respond to anything.

I don't remember any particular smells or anything to set it apart, however the house was an old house and very disgusting. Our nickname for the place was "Vietnam" (jokingly) because it had a nastiness and "messed up" quality about it that reminded me of camping in the jungle. For example, they did not have hot water and I had to boil water on stove plates (they did not have a real stove) and then pour it into the bathtub's ice cold water. And even that water came out of a bare metal pipe jutting out of the wall. The carpet was horrendous. Outdoors lay lots of chicken poop and who knows what else due to all the farm animals running amock.

I did not enjoy being there. The only reason I put up with it was because of the girl. She was worth it, most of the time :)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('650','Greg Thompson','It seemed to temporarily go away when I tried to hit it or pound on top of the bed, but other than that, it didn\'t seem to respond to anything.\r\n\r\nI don\'t remember any particular smells or anything to set it apart, however the house was an old house and very disgusting.
Is there anything else you can tell me about that thing? Did the house smell? Did it coincide with food having been cooked or left around? I believe I know what it was you were dealing with. Did it ever respond to you or did it seem to just be doing its own thing?

Do you believe its possible that there are creatures that you can't easily see since they are made out of substances different than us (such as plasma)?

I'm very curious about what you experienced, I was hoping there might be more clues or more detailed descriptions of what you experienced. It seems that it was pretty frequent in her house. Was the house old? Was it wooden? Were parts rotting?

As far as I believe, these things aren't magical or supernatural, but actual living things that move around and eat, but they feed on vapors and gasses, rather than solid food like us. Probably because they aren't solid either, and need fuel type substances in order to survive.

Wood, food, poop, and other things, when they are fresh and when they rot, emit gasses and vapors which may attract these things.

Was the place ever misty looking, like there was fine smoke around or dust?

Any strange smells?

Thats alot of questions, I know, but its always fun to hear people who have had a believable experience without calling it a ghost or a demon or anything.

Though I believe what you experienced is probably really common, and many just shrug it off, while some say they experienced ghosts, demons, or psychic phenomenon. But few even consider they may be dealing with a life form that they were ignorant of due to difficulty in seeing it.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('645','Foxy','Is there anything else you can tell me about that thing?
Hi Troy,

Glad to know I'm not the only one :) Well, that was a few years ago and it's never happened to me since. So I guess it was just something about that weird house.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('384','Greg Thompson','Hi Troy,\n\nGlad to know I\'m not the only one :) Well, that was a few years ago and it\'s never happened to me since.
