Hi Greg :-)

I have a propensity to reverse speech. I've listened to myself, my friends and famous folks. I believe that it is as you say: worth further investigation and agree that we give out more signals than we are remotely aware of.

Can I suggest that you actually speak gobbledegook into your recorder and find words in that reversal. It's a good test, I find, to know that I can't make patterns just for the sake of it. I hope you get the time to try it. I would love to read your thoughts.

Thanks for your wonder-ful post :-)

Very interesting! Great job on this article. I have some questions about your experiment though. Was wondering if, while decoding, you would hear one word then gibberish, then another, then gibberish, and have to piece the words together most of the time into a sentence or, if the words seemed to be tagged right next to each other consecutively for the most part after a short period of gibberish etc...? Thanks for your reply!

I'am really not sure about it - I mean think about this university experiment with the changed letter.

You can "raed taht" without problems. In my opinion speech goes much deeper then the sciences is currently searching...<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('418','Tom@Lyrics from Tilly and the Wall'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('418','Tom@Lyrics from Tilly and the Wall','I\'am really not sure about it - I mean think about this university experiment with the changed letter.\r\n\r\nYou can \"raed taht\" without problems.
I think this is absolute nonsense.
